Training as an Employee Benefit
People train for many different reasons.
Ultimately it’s about feeling healthier, with the endorphins and dopamine kicking in the positive energy to drive on and be successful.
Working in the fitness industry for over 15 years, Mark, our lead coach, has been lucky to work with some of the most driven and successful people across various industries. He has trained the MD of an international recruitment business, the founder of a large international university. He has trained Doctors, Teachers, Entrepreneurs, and other leaders with high-pressure, time-consuming jobs.
These people make the time to train because they know the benefits it will bring them across all other elements of their lives. The effects of training increase their performance, productivity, happiness, motivation, passion, and drive.
Are you an active leader? Do you ensure you take the time to train and look after your physical health?
Imagine if, as an employer, you were to offer your teams the same focus. Offer some training or, even better, encourage your employees to go on a fitness journey together, funded by you, as an employee benefit.
Imagine the positive impact on team dynamics, team performance, employer brand, and company culture.
Mark was asked to do precisely this for one of his clients and had a regular weekly session where he trained a selection of their staff. He ran HIIT sessions, incorporating cardio and strength, and core. This hour out of their day, some time for them, was well received. Feedback was excellent regarding positive outcomes ranging from increased employee engagement to enhanced team dynamics.
We at OXHU want to take this offer one step further. We want to support businesses in increasing their employees’ physical and mental well-being by getting active and incorporating this into a charity event. We can offer both in-person and online coaching. We can offer team workouts based at your workplace or online programs designed individually or collectively for a team.
Furthermore, we would love to help create a team aspirational goal, something everyone can work together to achieve – for example, a company-wide half-marathon to support a chosen charity… we can help design the event and then create the programs to support the teams’ training, with weekly updates.
We are excited about this part of our business and hope you feel the same.
There is a direct correlation between work ethics in group personal training that transfers to drive and focused application on a professional level.
